Thomas Cameo Supreme 1974

The 1265 came to me because it was advertised in Wagga an hour away. These were made in the Italian factory and the cabinets were very cheaply made. This one was in great condition and has been fully restored, however it had been put in the hanger behind other items and has not been played for about 5 years. I can't get to it to give you photos but when I can I will add to for you.

This is what the manual says about the Moog.

Your Moog Preset Synthesizer is complete and independent in itself, but its many voices have been designed to complement and add to the basic organ. It is monophonic, in that it produces single note melodies, not chords. However, polyphonic effects (more than one note at a time) may be achieved by blending synthesizer and organ voices with careful adjustment of volume levels. It consists of thirteen PRESET VOICES, which may be used with additional controls.

Each PRESET VOICE may be produced by merely depressing one button and playing on the upper keyboard of the organ, either alone or in combination with the organ voices. In combining organ and synthesizer voices, you may wish to play chords on the upper keyboard. Remember that the synthesizer voice will be the highest note played and that it should not be released before the other notes.

The Moog Preset Synthesizer Voices can be used in a Pre-Set mode or a variable mode. The Moog Preset Synthesizer Voices can
be used in a Pre-Set mode or a variable mode. When used as a Pre-Set, the attack, decay, vibrato, tremulant, and timbre of the voices are pre-programmed for you. When the Variable mode is used the Moog Preset Variable controls described on page 14 and 15 may be used to modify these voices as you wish. Each voice is indicated herein as 8' or 16' ... the pitch equivalent to that produced by an organ pipe 8' to 16' in length. This is the pitch level at which the Pre-Set voice will sound as a Pre-Set. That pitch level may be changed with other controls, when the voice is used in the Variable mode

Only one Synthesizer PRESET VOICE may be played at a time. If all of the PRESET VOICE buttons are out, a flute-like sound will be produced. Any PRESET VOICE, is cancelled when you press any other PRESET VOICE button. In order to obtain the FLUTE VOICE, partially depress any button and all buttons will "pop out”. It is suggested that you familiarize yourself with the sound of each of the PRESET VOICES, then explore the effect of each of the other controls on those.
